The Craig and Barbara Barrett Political Science Scholarship

Thanks to the inspiration and generosity of Craig and Barbara Barrett, Political Science is able annually to name a Barrett Political Science Scholar -- a designation that brings not only distinction to the student but also an award up to $2800.

 

Kenneth C. Behringer Political Science Undergraduate Research Scholarship

This undergraduate research scholarship endowment was generously established by ASU Alumnus Ken Behringer to support scholarships for political science students in the School of Politics and Global Studies within the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences at ASU Tempe campus.The award can be up to $1000.

 

Dean's Circle Scholarship

The College of Liberal Arts and Sciences Dean's Circle awards scholarships to undergraduate students on an annual basis. This award can be up to $1000.

 

Herman R. Frazier Political Science Scholarship

Political Sciences awarded the first Herman R. Frazier Scholarship in fall 2002. The scholarship is given to a deserving political science student each year.  This award can be up to $500.

 

Calvin M. Holman Political Science Scholarship

In honor of Calvin M. Holman's memory, this political science scholarship was established to recognize an undergraduate political science major on the Tempe campus who embodies the community spirit, honesty and hard-work ethic of Mr. Holman.  This award can be up to $1000.

 

Sarah Anne McNeil Memorial Scholarship in Political Science

Sarah Anne McNeil was killed in a car accident on December 17th, 2004. She was 21 years old. At the time of her death, Sarah had a double major in political science and kinesiology and carried an overall GPA of 3.9. As a way of honoring her industry, her spirit, and her character, Political Science established this memorial scholarship in January 2005.  This award can be up to $1000.

 

Ross R. Rice Award

The family of Ross Rice established an award in his honor. Ross was the founding member of the Political Science at ASU, which at one time was part of ASU’s Department of History. This award can be up to $500.

 

Norma F. Schuessler Scholarship

Political Science at Arizona State University awards each year the Norma F. Schuessler Scholarship.  The scholarship is awarded for a student who is amassing an outstanding academic record in the face of challenges uncommon among political science undergraduates. This award can be up to $500.
