This undergraduate research scholarship endowment was generously established by ASU Alumnus Ken Behringer to support scholarships for political science students in the School of Politics and Global Studies within the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences at ASU Tempe campus. The award is approximately $1,000.

This undergraduate research scholarship endowment was generously established by ASU Alumnus Ken Behringer, ‘74 B.A., ’78 JD, ’88 MBA, to support scholarships for political science students in the School of Politics and Global Studies on the ASU Tempe campus. The scholarship is awarded annually to an undergraduate interested in pursuing a research project. Students are encouraged, but not required, to conduct research related to the Arizona legislature. Applicants must submit a one page research proposal and a letter of support from a faculty member of the Political Science who will also supervise the research during the academic year. Please identify the type of research you intend to do, and explain how you and the ASU faculty member working with you will proceed in carrying out your research (limit one typed page). The research proposal should include such information as your research question(s), hypothesis, research design, and a timeline for the spring semester and the fall semester.
