Student Orgs

As a student, it is important to get involved within your academic community and also get to know your peers. At the School of Politics and Global Studies, we have several different student organizations at both the undergraduate and graduate level including the Global Studies Students Association and Pi Sigma Alpha, the Political Science honor society. We encourage all students to look into joining and participating in one of the School specific organizations or to join a University wide club. For a full list of student organizations here at ASU, please visit the full organization directory.

Research Opportunities

Junior Fellows

The Junior Fellows program offers a course designed with two purposes in mind: First, undergraduates work with professors as teaching or research partners; second, students have a chance through a seminar to explore the nature and cutting edges of the discipline. Both purposes provided the students with special insight into and intimate knowledge of political science and/or global studies.

SPGS Undergraduate Research Lab

The SPGS Undergraduate Research Lab will provide opportunities for undergraduate Political Science (POS), Global Studies (SGS), and Politics and the Economy majors to learn more about research design and the systematic collection of data, and to participate as a team of research assistants in large-scale research projects. The research opportunities will be part of a structured course.
